Using the local coarse aggregate is aim at reducing the project budget. Some public project specified the unit cost of the aggregate by market price. Thus the project is more costly. This study sets up the concrete mix design using local coarse aggregate of the two constrution sites, namely, Tha Darn Dam and Mae Sui Dam. One cubic meter of RCC compressive strength of 250 kilograms of cement and fly ash ( C:F ; 30:70 ), 1029 kilograms of coarse aggregate 875 kilograms of fine aggregate, 143 kilograms of water. The ages of RCC for compressive testing are 7 , 14 and 28 days. The result shows that Tuff aggregate is higher than gravel aggregate effected of compressive strength of RCC dam which of these exceed specification value.
