This project presents guidelines for improving effieinecy and power factor for 1-,1 HP induction motor with controlling motor supply voltage ,they reducing motor power input . SCR phase control technique is used by microcontroller ,(MCS-51) in order to provide appropriate power for operating motor load . The proposed technique is base on power factor control in order to know the motor load . Such microcontrol considers SCR trigger angle for defined power factor (0.85) and sends signal via D/A toTCA 785 for generating SCR trigger signals. This project shows that improved effieinecy occurs when power factor is control not less than defined values under all loads. This results in a decrease in energy consumetion particular , light and medium loads.
