Once buildings are fired, there are some questions whether those buildings are serviceable or whether they should be demolished or restored only damage parts. However, nowadays there are no exact evaluation criteria. Accordingly, this special project studied and collected criteria, to use for evaluating serviceability of fired buildings. The evaluation procedures were divided into three stages, i.e. preliminary investigation, engineering investigation and load capacity testing – the final stage – in order to ensure the seviceability of fired buildings before they may be used again. In addition, case studies were collected to cite them as examples.
