A micro-controller-based PID controller

In this thesis, a micro-controller-based PID controller design system is studied. Given the unit step response of a plant, the proposed system reads the response through an ADC, automatically determines the controller’s parameters that give a satisfactory system performance, and displays the result on a 7-segment. The design accuracy is confirmed by MATLAB simulation. The experimental Cuk converter is designed and built, and its performance and stability tested at different step-load values.
