At present, instrument used in industries and manufactures in order to measure quantities or to control operations of the systems are mostly designed by exploiting a computer as a controller and a data processor. However the computer works only with digitized data, whereas both measured quantities or controlled operations are analog. Therefore it is necessary to provide an interfacing unit, which is able to convert analog signals into digital signals and vice versa. The aim of this project is to design a controller board used to control the processes by using Delphi. This board can interface with the IBM PC through its parallel port.
