This thesis is the design and construct of the instrument of measuring infiltration rate of water through ground surface using ball valve switch. Its measurement uses two 30 cm high tanks with diameter of the outer tank is 55 cm and the inner one is 30 cm pushed into the ground. This two tanks is certified by ELE international standard and also can be used for every condition of ground.The water storage and water level indicator uses high precision 10 cm diameter pipe to measure the decreased water level in water storage and also the two tanks mentioned above.The ball valve set is consist of solinoid valve and plastic ball valve switch which determines the flow of electric current to solinoid valve to shut and open the valve making the water from the storage stops or flow into the measuring tanks.
