Conversion Seawater to Freshwater by Electrolysis

This project presents “Conversion seawater to freshwater by electrolysis” with the electrical system based on Faraday’s Law, using plate electrodes. The most important purpose is to convert seawater to freshwater. This involves designing plate electrodes which effects the efficiency of the reduction of salinity by simulate different side plate gap. After we find a membranes, kind of plate. Data from electrodialysis is good process. It can reduce salinity 18.6 and reduces conductivity 19.79 but water form process is alkaline. It is 3 hour for simulating that uses power 3.5 kW- hour. Its ability can produce 3.33 liter per hour and cost for production 0.7 Baths per liter. These data are simulated for developing a better conversion seawater to freshwater by electrolysis in the future.
