This digital display weight meter utilizes a load-cell to measure weight. It’s also included a fat level monitor using the bioimpedance analysis. The weight meter consists of a load cell as sensor and electronic circuit such as differential Amplifier, low passed filters and amplifiers to condition the signal from the sensor. An analog to digital converter is used to convert voltage from the weight meter and bioimpedance measurement to digital form for processing by an 8051 microcontroller. The results of measurement are displayed on an LCD. The standard weights were used to calibrate the weight meter. It is shown that the range of measure is 0-200 kg with one decimal notation. The average accuracy is 95 %. The total body impedance measurement is based on the 4 electrodes measurement. Two electrodes are used to inject 4 mA, 100 KHz, isolated current into foot pad. The other two electrode collect the potential drop on the body impedance. The standard measure of fat (by weight and tall) has been used to classify in three groups of 50 testing objects, fat, moderate and thin.
