SOYMILK EXTRACTION MACHINE DEVELOPMENT

The purpose of the Project is to develop the Soymilk Extraction Machine which was Established from previous project. The improvements were more stable structure and more compact in size suitable for small family industry. Automatic sensors were used to control buoy pot to control power on and off to prevent overflow. The main design concept was for easy cleaning for sanitization.

Respiration of Lime was found at 10, 15 and 20oC to be 3.505, 5.644 and 7.783 ml/kg/hr. Permeability of films, PE at 110 , PP at 40 had been found. The experiment using MAP of 3 films mension above at 10, 15 and 20oC at 5 pieces, 10 pieces and 15 pieces had been conducted. It was found that PP at 40 at 15oC 10 of pieces can maintain green color up to 30 days of storage. Predicted gases contents of lime in MAP had been formulated using, Exel. It was found that the predicted values and experimental values were quite different due to many factor such as the value of the permeability of films.
