DATA WAREHOUSE

This project deals with the studying and designing of Data Warehouse, a new kind of Database, and compares with Relational Database. The studying about the multidimensional database theory and concept from a software based on multidimensionality, namely “Pilot Decision Support Suite version 5.0” and the application has been developed with Delphi version 4.0 for searching data from the Oracle database. This application can build models from any tables that a structure is multidimensional database and users can analyze the data from data warehouse with flexibility.

Making decision for investment is often concerned with prediction of data’s trend or value. To predict trend or value, we must use some techniques for analyzing data to discover patterns. Then we use that discovered patterns for prediction. Data mining using backpropagation neural network is one solution to prediction. It’s very interesting and can be adapted in many application. This project present the creation of Backpropagation neural network generator and trainer program using object-oriented programming, and experimentation aimed to find the best topology for neural network which will be used to predict the lottery.
