LONG-DISTANCE TELEPHONE VIA INTERNET NETWORK

Nowadays communication is very necessary especially using telephone system which is very popular,but there is a disadvan- tage about the cost of long-distance call.This project is presented to reduce the cost in this case byconnecting the telephone to the computer and connect to the remote computer via internet network,which is lower cost thanlong-distance call and connect to the reciever\'s telephone.
Today digital images are very popular and widespread use in thedigital data communication such as internet on computer or even on mobile phone.So digital image communication should be able to be transmitted in a fast speed and be stored efficiently.As a result,there is renewed interest in improving algorithmsfor the compression of image data without losing much of the image quality.This project is presented wavelet transform which is a very popular method to compress data nowadays.

TARGET FINDING EQUIPMENT

This target finding equipment uses to find the direction of theobject or anything which is the user\'s target . The target finding equipment consists of two parts which are the transmitting part and the receiving part .The transmitting part will be placed on the target and the signalwill be transmitted to the receiving part . The receiving part will receive the signal by the antenna, then this signal will be demodulated and processed with the program to find the directionof the target ,and displayed on the computer .
This project is study of the “Speech Recognition” by analyze speech signal. First, we find bound of word, and select section that we consider. Then take the last result to analyze the parameters by LPC method. After that improve the parameters use to compare by Hidden Markov Model method, and pass decision rule. Finally, selecting word is shown.

ANTENNA AT REPEATER STATION FOR MOBILE TELEPHONE

Mobile Telecommunications become popular nowadays. In some situations, thecommunications cannot be achieved since the signal is weak. The repeater station is consequently applied. This project concerns about the design of the antenna for the repeater station for mobile telephone. This antenna is designed to transmit/receive radio wave. The antenna characteristics such as radiation pattern, input impedance and standing wave ratio are determined.
The purpose of this project is to study and create equipment which collect the parameters of an environment such as humidity, temperature, pressure and voice through wireless communication system. These data are measured by sensor and multiplex together then send to the receiver. In receiver use LCD monitor to show the parameter of an environment. The application will be used in agriculture system or Industrial Company.

Quadrature Phase Shift Keying

This project is proposed, transmitted and received using Quadranture Phase Shift Keying. The data will be transmitted via coaxial cable. In the transmitter the signals differ by phase shift and the receiver must be demodulate and decode the data. In this project used 64 kbps data stream modulated with 512 kHz carrier signal and used 256 kHz pilot signals. The advantage of QPSK is the signals have a single frequency, no DC component, easy to demodulate and clock recovery.

An Open Circular Waveguide Antenna

The goal this project is to experience An Open Circular Waveguide Antenna, that is the directional antenna. The radiation pattern of this antenna is one directional pattern. To improve the Directivity and Gain of antenna we also arrange antennae in array. The radiation pattern, gain and directivity of this antenna are tested and recorded to compare with the theory of antenna.

1-Line Telephone Recorder with Billing System

This project concern about a recording system for single telephone line, it concludes the billing system to calculate the price, using time, called number and etc. This project uses the microcontroller MCS-51 which is applied for working with 1 channel telephone recording system including with the billing system. It stores the telephone data for national calling, international calling and mobile telephone. The interface for information uses the serial port RS-232. The data is displayed on monitor and data will be automatically printed out.

Wireless Security Camera

The security camara is quite difficult to install and change the position because of the new transmission line installation and needs the higher budget. This project propose a wireless security camera in order to eliminate the mentioned problem, it also proposes to change the camera angle ability by controlling with remote long distance via computer. The method is to send the video signal form the camera to computer and the computer software is able to control camera angle.

Security System VIA Telephone Line

Security system is currently necessary, especially in the office building, super market or residence. Thus a closed circuit camera has become a popular equipment. As communication via telephone line has been improving to transmit a various information form including video signal, so in this project has applied a communication via telephone line to use with security system. It will can transmit a video signal from a camera via telephone line and then display on monitor by I/O instrument to connect communicating system.

Video and Audio Communication by TDM Technique

This project relates to study and design a transmission of video and audio signal by using time division multiplex (TDM) technique. The multiplexed signal are fed through a transmission line in a digital format. At the receiver, the received signal is demultiplexed to be the original analog audio and video signal which will be applied for specific work.

Electric Equipment Control VIA Internet

This project presents an applied software to control the 8 channel electrical equipments. The program is divided into 3 parts, homepage program using HTML incorporating with ASP (Active Server Pages), electrical equipment controlled program at server and using Windows NT Server and IIS (Internet Information Server) with Visual Basic 6, microcontroller controlled program. Telephone Recorder

This project is a study about the telephone recorder with microcontroller in MCS-51 family doing as central processing unit for controlling the operation. It divides its operating into 3 parts as follows ; the first part is the data – receiving controlling from detector circuit, the second part is the data-sending controlling to computer units, and the part is the calculating of telephone service charges and can be driven out serial port through RS-232 to show its output on computer units, also can be printed from a printer. On every telephone call out, the recorder will record the starting time, the finishing time, the terminated line number or if the call-out phone is the other province line, it will show province in that area too. Moreover, it will show the rate of service charges when there is a dial eachtime, both in the area of the Metropolitant Telephone and the area of provinces.

Interface of Transceiver with Automatic Telephone System
